Since their humble beginnings in 1979, Mooder Horticultural has been providing landscape design, construction and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties in the Region of Waterloo. Owner Doug Mooder, Certified Landscape Designer, is the driving force behind the company's success, growth and longevity. The creativity Doug brings to his wide-ranging designs is proven by his 14 Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence, six Unilock awards for hardscaping projects and countless profiles in local and industry publications.

While continuing to run Mooder Horticultural, Doug, started a new venture in Elmira in 2007. The Gardens is Canada’s first display-garden style landscape design centre featuring a variety of styles, plants and materials, which allows customers to actually immerse themselves in the type of garden they want to create.
